I had the pleasure to be the photographer for the DC workshop The Simple Plan. The Simple Plan is a 2-day workshop focused on writing a business plan. It is open to all wedding industry professionals: from start-ups just getting their feet wet to experienced pros who are looking to refresh their business. The Simple Plan is a no-sweat, no-fuss, piece-of-cake, easy-peasy approach to writing a business plan. They’ve taken out the dirty work and made this fun and collaborative.
It was great to attend this workshop and to finally get my business plan written! I even have my mission statement written thanks to my buddy Janice Carnevale of Bellwether Events. It’s a wonderful experience when you can work with your peers. I can’t say enough about Michelle Loretta of mmm…paper and Kelly Simants of Sweet Pea Events they really did make this simple! DC’s had two guest speakers which was the fab Kate Parker of my Kate Parker Wedding and Wendy Robinson of Aspire to Plan. I left feeling refreshed and ready for 2010!
