Megan + Kevin : Married Belmont Country Club

Part 2 of great weekend of weddings for us was Megan and Kevin who were married at Belmont Country Club. Their wedding was full of love and tears of joy. They both are such great people and they have such an amazing family. I remember during the dances everyone in tears and the bridesmaids behind Chris telling him just don’t listen to the song and you won’t cry. It didn’t matter because it was too late. ;P

Laurie + David : Lansdowne Resort Wedding

To think I stopped posting on our blog right before I shared one of my wedding favorite weekends…shame on me!! So to put me back on track and the blog I’ll start with Laurie and David who were a pleasure to photograph. They were married at the St Robert Bellarmine Chapel with a fabulous detailed full reception at Lansdowne Resort. It was wonderful to see these two enjoying their wedding day. Don’t get me wrong I’m not couples don’t enjoy their day but Laurie really, really enjoyed it!! She enjoyed it so much you couldn’t help but to smile and be a part of her happiness. Now I don’t want to leave out David but I just don’t think he could compare to her excitement but you could tell he was enjoying it with her. This wedding had it all, a Muppet song (somone’s getting married), amazing details from Laurie, family oh such amazing family ;), friends and tradition (love a tea ceremony) and it was nothing but a honor to be there! Excited!!! We are listed on Washingtonian’s Bride and Groom as one to watch!!

We’re still letting it all soak in and enjoying such a great honor for our business!! Amazing to be voted in and beyond an honor to be listed as one to watch. We are so thankful to all our peers that voted us in. We love working with amazing vendors that make our jobs so much more enjoyable!

Sorry for the bad iPhone picture. I can’t wait to hand out copies of the magazine to my clients that visit the studio!!!

Julia + Marc : Married Hotel Monaco DC Wedding

Julia and Marc’s wedding at Hotel Monaco was stunning. We captured so many great expressions shared by the two of them during the ceremony. Julia’s used purple and silver for her colors and had the cutest details throughout. The venue has so many unique spots for portraits and the bridal party was tons of fun while we explored both the hotel and the city. They rocked out their formals in front of the Capital despite the cold and rain. We previously shared highlights from the guest having fun in our photobooth and if you missed them you can see them here too. These two make the perfect couple and it was a honor to be a part of it. Giselle and Bill : wedding at Springfield Golf and Country Club

Giselle and Bill were married at the Church of the Nativity with their reception following at Springfield Gof and Country Club. They are actually friends with one of our previous couples Mary and Max and we were super excited to be documenting their wedding too. Luckily for them Virginia isn’t known for having blizzards in September so they didn’t have the same weather results. I loved getting to know these two better and I was excited to see them celebrating their day together. We had a blast exploring Burke Lake during formals and documenting the party that followed on the dance floor that night. Congrats you guys are perfect for each other!

Joann + Gabe : wedding Crystal Gateway Marriott

Joann and Gabe were married at St Columba Catholic Church with an exciting reception that followed at the Crystal Gateway Marriott. Everyone was so amazing and this wedding was full of tears and a lot of joy. I won’t lie Joann’s Dad had me balling but I know I wasn’t alone. I have way too many to share from their great day!

Alton + Pricilla

Alton and Pricilla were married during the hurricane weekend and I think the first picture below says it all. There’s really nothing these two could do but get little wet and adjust your plans. That being sad despite the rain and wind outside inside we documented a fabulous wedding full of love, family and dancing!!!! Alton and Pricilla were truly a pleasure to work with and completely enjoyed their wedding day. It was tons of fun to witness this intimate wedding. Congrats guys!
