Little Jayden stopped in the other day for a newborn session in our Old Town Alexandria studio. I have to admit he is beyond handsome and other then not liking to be naked he was perfect! I am sure once he’s running around this one will be the naked toddler. I can’t wait to see him again soon!
Trying to come up with the right words to say about a family sometimes can be such a challenge and if you know me you know I am not one for words. This family hits home for me since their daughter is Lauren’s age and I have known Allison since she was expecting her. We are online friends. Weird? Naw not really and I am happy to have I meet her. They used to live in Baltimore and then moved to Georgia for sometime and now are basically down the street from me yet I never find time for friends much these days. When she told me John was leaving for a year to Iraq my heart went out to her and I made time for a session. She wanted to get some pictures taken of him with the girls before he left. Below are my favorites from the raining indoor studio session at the studio in Old Town Alexandria. I hope they keep him close to you guys while he is gone and the girls and you close to him. I hope the year flies by and he returns safely back. I promise to make more time for you guys!
Lauren and Brian had their engagement Session in Old Town Alexandria the other night. We even stopped in Hotel Monaco for a couple of images in their amazing hotel. Who doesn’t love the way they decorate! The hotel is meaningful to this couple and why we made sure it was on our route for their session. Below are some of the highlights from the session. Lisa and Tony hung out with me the other night in Old Town Alexandria for their engagement session. We had a blast despite how muggy it was these two never complained. Tony took me to the recently renovated tunnel, very cool and I will admit I have gone back to this location since then.
I love that so many of my couples live in Old Town and now that my studio is there I really get to venture out into the city a lot more. I am still trying to talk Chris into giving up our backyard and moving up here. I love the history here.

Amie is an extremely talented photographer and I am so thrilled to call her my friend. She asked me to take a couple of headshots of her. I even got to meet her 2 beautiful children. Aren’t they super cute? She definatly has her hands full 
Pam is having a little baby girl (as a mother of just one girl I can’t imagine 4 girls under one roof). It’s been such a long time since I saw this family. I can’t believe how much they have grown. Morgan still has most of her baby teeth and Meagan is such a beautiful young lady. Julia is the redhead of the group. She is finding her smile and cracked me up. I just have to share some of her funny faces. I think she is so stinkin cute!
I can’t wait to meet the new addition!
I meet up with Katie and Ray in Virginia Beach for their engagement session. First we started out at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Afterwards we went to the beach to get some quick shots before the sun faded. It was such an amazing day for early May and I had so much fun with Ray and Katie. I can’t wait for their wedding in October. Below are just a few highlights from their session.
Caitlin and Brad were a blast in the Inner Harbor Baltimore last Sunday. They so rocked it! I am just going to let the images speak for themselves. HOT!!!
Laurie and Dana have such great personalities as it showed during their engagement session! Love it. When I meet Laurie she was just finishing up school and I must admit more then a little stressed out. I didn’t even get to meet Dana 
and I realize now they are firecrackers together.
They took me to one of my new favorite spring locations that has been on my must shot at lists for some time. Dumbarton Oaks in Georgetown (they are a little strict with professional photography). It was such a great way to avoid the Cherry Blossom crowds (ok not the traffic but the human crowds). I can not wait to see both of you guys soon and thanks so much for such a great time.

Keisha and James meet me Monday for their session in Old Town Alexandria. We had a great evening getting to know each other a little better. I actually have already spent a day with Keisha making a special present for James for Valentine’s Day. Monday was just a chance to know James a little better before the big day at the end of this month. We had a lot of fun walking around and watching Keisha in those shoes gave me a new respect of high heels. When you’re 6 foot you just don’t get to wear cute shoes like that often, ok never! Next time I see these two it will be in Florida at Fisher Island. I am excited to start the season again after such a big break! I know the wedding is going to be amazing!
