Family Day

Wow today couldn’t have been a more perfect day to spend at Kings Dominion. I thought the park would be packed but we barely waited for any of the rides and enjoyed such a beautiful day. I decided no camera (not even the P&S cuz will cuz we couldn’t find it). But I did of course have the iPhone and we did buy a video of the kids riding one of the rides. I will have to upload it to share.

Here are just 3 from the day.
Oh Chris got a lot of tears for cleaning her face tonight.

Aaron’s coconut

My son just had to have a coconut and I just had to play with my new 16-35 lens.

Easter

A little late but I still thought I would share. We had the pleasure of spending family time w/my Parents and Grandparents at the river house. I think we all enjoyed ourselves. Chris starting telling Aaron that the Easter Bunny hides baskets. Will she did hide them and then my Father thought it would be funny to hide them after she left.

This one cracks me up. During the egg hunt Aaron stole the golden egg from Lauren. I can see what my future looks like.

Aaron found the basket in the dryer. It was great to hear these little footsteps up stairs running around everywhere. Then 2 minutes later waking me up saying the bunny didn’t come. I explained that you wanted her to hide it. Off he ran.

my Grandparents bought them huge jaw breakers. Too much candy!!

My Mom was thrilled that Aaron wanted to take a picture next to her and her famous bunny cake

Vacation at Grandma’s

We just got back from Gulfport MS on our visit with Grandma. We really enjoyed our family time. It was a pleasent break before wedding season starts.

    Massanutten

Every year we go on a trip to Massanutten for Chris to go snowboarding for his birthday. I take the kids and we stay some what safe doing the snow tubing thing. My Dad proved today that it isn’t safe and smacked hard into the wall and broke his glasses, his 3 ribs and gave himself a black eye. Since it was only 18 degrees us kids had called it quits by then. He still says he had a blast.

    Chris’s Birthday

My Best Friend turned 35 today! I can’t believe I have known and loved this man for the last 15 years. He is my very best friend and I am so happy I have meet him New Years Eve at Tonya and Eric’s house. I still remember Tonya and me singing Happy Birthday to him outside his window bedroom window. I might just call Tonya and remind her of that!

We are about to go out and enjoy a dinner with family and friends. But since I do blog about him I thought I would put out an image of that is near and dear to me. It was stuck to the frame but is still around my house (forgive the me for messing it up). I didn’t take it someone else used him as a model.

Happy Birthday! Oh if you ever meet Chris he is still 29!

    Tampa

Just starting to unpack and had a second to grab one image off my iPhone. It is now my wall paper image (shocked I took off my kids). I am actually suprised at how great it looks. This is the view from the resturant we ate at one day during the PPA tradeshow. I will be sharing more soon.

    Britton Christmas 2007

It’s been an amazing year and I can’t believe how quickly the year flew by. I enjoyed the break w/family and friends (stomach virus and all). I won’t bore you w/tons of images of our Christmas, I will just do two of each of my kids and one of them under the tree that should sum up our Christmas.

    Early present from Santa

Lauren sat on Santa’s lap this year and asked for a real kitten. My son says next year he is asking for the puppy. I so hope he forgets!!! Chris and I haven’t had a cat in 7 years and wanted to make it till Lauren was about 5 but I am a sucker. So while I was in Baltimore hanging w/a friend the other weekend we went to the animal shelter and rescued Natasha! She is over her cold and now has a clean bill of health from our vet. Tasha is now part of our family. She is our wild and crazy kitty!
