Fazida and Chris had such a beautiful day for a wedding. The Inn at Brookeville Farms is such a beautiful setting for a wedding reception. We loved hanging out with these two and getting to know their family! We wish you both a lifetime of happiness. Below are the highlights.
Melissa and Gregg were married on 10/11 at the beautiful Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and their wedding was beyond perfect. I am a sucker for weddings and emotion and this one had it all. Everyone laughed and cried it was more then touching. It’s one I’ll never forgot and I am so excited that these two found each other. Below are the highlights of this outstanding wedding:
Lisa and Tony were married at the beautiful Ceresville Mansion on 9/25/09. Wow what a gorgeous day full of emotion. I had more then a blast hanging with both of their families. Beyond amazing people. The ceremony was full of tears and laughter. Love it. Dance floor was packed! Congrats to you both. I know Lisa is waiting to see these so let’s get to it.
Maria and Dan were married on 8/29 of this year at the United States Naval Academy Catholic Church and the reception followed on the beautiful rooftop of the Fleet Reserve Club. They had such a cute story of how these two meet. They lived next door to each other. I can only imagine the excitment waiting to sneak a peek of each other or finding an excuse to be outside when the other comes home. I love hearing true love stories at weddings. Their wedding was so touching and I have to say they were complete troopers since it had to have been the hotest day of the year yet Maria looked beyond stunning! The reception was great and I loved seeing all the dancing. I hear the night got even crazier once we left. Congrats you two. Chris and I wish you a live time of happiness.
Here’s our quote: “I frequently shoot couples from below, trying to capture the venue in the background, and this was a particularly gorgeous site. The wedding was held at the Cloisters in Lutherville, Maryland, which has a windmill on the grounds, I love the symmetry and the way the couple is positioned. The lighting is also nice–we shot this right before dusk, so there’s a bit of golden glow.”
You also might remember their recent maternity session. Still waiting to hear the exciting news any day!
Rachel and Ben were married on June 7th at Temple Emanuel with a beautiful reception at the Strathmore. They had a Ketubah signing (marriage certificate) before the ceremony with family and friends attending. The reception followed at the Strathmore in Maryland. What a beautiful location with a gorgeous staircase and tons of natural light. The couple were lifted for the Hora on Rachel’s Grandparents chairs during the reception, I so enjoy watching their expressions being lifted by the guests. I really enjoyed meeting a lot of this couple’s friends and family. The wedding was perfect. Congrats!
I can’t help it she is the same age as my mini me
Caitlin and Brad were married on the 22nd of May. The ceremony was at Caitlin’s family church St. Joseph Catholic Community and the reception was at the beautiful Antrim 1844 in Taneytown MD. Caitlin and Brad are really such an amazing couple that have been together since they were 14. It was really cool to see the images and hear history that these two have. The table numbers were all images of each year that they dated and what was going on in their lives. Their slideshow brought tons of laughter and tears to all the guests. I have to admit hearing Brad as a child during the slideshow was so touching. There was just so much family and love here it was great to be a witness and we left feeling like part of the family. Thanks so much to Caitlin and Brad and their families. We loved being part of your day.
Suzanne and Daniel were married at the beautiful Oxon Hill Manor on 5/17/09.I have photographed a wedding before at Oxon Hill Manor but never when so much was in bloom.Wow the gardens are beyond beautiful. The ceremony location is over looking the Potomac. Both Suzanne and Daniel represented their different religious traditions.I was very impressed with the construction of the huppah that Suzanne’s family built that the couple was married under.Another great touch of the ceremony was that the couple took the time to write vows to each other. This really gives you insight to whom they are.The speech best man and matron of honor speeches were extremely touching.I always find so many moments when I am ready to just cry with everyone else.
My first wedding I ever shot was Greek and I fell in love with the tradition especially the dancing.Their wedding brought me back what I was so love about weddings and their reception scored as one of my top 10 favorites.
We are very excited to see one our images from Lizzie and Kaitan’s wedding rank in the top 10 in the catagory for movement and motion amongst some very talented wedding photographers on ISPWP’s Spring Quarter contest.
