Rachel + Ben : Strathmore wedding

Rachel and Ben were married on June 7th at Temple Emanuel with a beautiful reception at the Strathmore. They had a Ketubah signing (marriage certificate) before the ceremony with family and friends attending. The reception followed at the Strathmore in Maryland. What a beautiful location with a gorgeous staircase and tons of natural light. The couple were lifted for the Hora on Rachel’s Grandparents chairs during the reception, I so enjoy watching their expressions being lifted by the guests. I really enjoyed meeting a lot of this couple’s friends and family. The wedding was perfect. Congrats!

Megan + Brian : Old Town Alexandria Engagement Session

Megan and Brian finally got their perfect day for their engagement pictures. I really started to feel bad that Mother nature wasn’t on our side. But let me tell you this nights weather was beyond perfect and I don’t think any of us could have asked for a better night. We walked around Old Town Alexandria and got some great stuff. They are my Halloween wedding and I am so excited and can’t wait. See you both soon.

Tara + Chris : Fredericksburg Engagement Session

June 25, 2009 – 5:55 am

Tara and Chris meet me the other night in Fredericksburg for their engagement session. It was a very hot and muggy night and I thank both of them for walking around finding great backdrops. They were such troopers. Chris has the coolest job he sells dirtbikes. My son is very interested in me getting to know him better so he can’t get a dirtbike. I am thinking 4 wheels or staying on a bike with no motor!

These two are getting married in August. I think we all said we were hoping for a nice cool summer night. See you guys soon.

Kate + Michael : Holy Rosary and Hotel Monaco DC wedding

June 22, 2009 – 4:10 pm

Kate and Michael were married on June 6th at Holy Rosary Church and the reception followed at the fab Hotel Monaco in DC. The ceremony was performed by Kate’s family priest and was such a lovely touch to hear all the history of Kate as she grew up. The ceremony was just perfect, the church is beyond beautiful. The couple had a rickshaw pull them away from the church as the guest saluted them with clappers and cow bells. Love it! Reception and cocktail hour followed at Monaco and the backdrop of this location is beyond beautiful. Kate and Michael choose to see each other before hand and grab some formals in the halls of the hotel. There is too much I love about Monaco I need to hire their designers even their carpets are amazing. Below are a few of the highlights, enjoy and congrats you two!

Ashley + Ludwig : Alexandria Maternity Photographer

I just can’t believe how beautiful Ashley is right now. Her belly is just beyond perfect and so cute. I was so excited when these two told me they were expecting. Ashley had always planned on doing a bridal but it never happened before the wedding. I can’t say I am disappointed since I got to do some belly shots. I can’t wait to see their first baby! These two are going to make wonderful parents! Congrats.

Oh these were taken in my new studio in Old Town. They were my first clients to see it, dust and all on the day I was moving in.

Laurie + Dana : Sewall-Belmont House Wedding

Laurie and Dana were married on 5/30 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and Sewall-Belmont House in DC. Wow what a gorgeous day it was. They are both such great people and after meeting them you will see how they couldn’t be a better fit! Their wedding was surrounded by beautiful architecture that Dana loves which added a major element into this couple’s wedding. Dana made a beautiful speech during the reception about the history of Sewall-Belmont House and some of the history of DC. I loved all the personal touches and was amazed by the cake Laurie’s Stepmother made. Below are the highlights:

DC boudoir photographer

Below are just two images I will share from M’s boudoir session at Hotel Monaco in Alexandria. I am extremely private about my clients that choose these intimate sessions but also know I not the best about sharing either. So here are two highlights providing privacy to my client of course

Boudoir sessions are on sale right now $300 with high RES disk with print release for a limited time at my new studio in Old Town Alexandria. If you book your session in the month of June and July only after that it’s back to my normal $400. Clients should expect to receive 40-60 extremely retouched images. Makeup + hair is an additional $100

Pam : Fairfax maternity photographer

Pam is having a little baby girl (as a mother of just one girl I can’t imagine 4 girls under one roof). It’s been such a long time since I saw this family. I can’t believe how much they have grown. Morgan still has most of her baby teeth and Meagan is such a beautiful young lady. Julia is the redhead of the group. She is finding her smile and cracked me up. I just have to share some of her funny faces. I think she is so stinkin cute!

Caitlin + Brad: Antrim 1844 wedding

June 8, 2009 – 11:54 am

Caitlin and Brad were married on the 22nd of May. The ceremony was at Caitlin’s family church St. Joseph Catholic Community and the reception was at the beautiful Antrim 1844 in Taneytown MD. Caitlin and Brad are really such an amazing couple that have been together since they were 14. It was really cool to see the images and hear history that these two have. The table numbers were all images of each year that they dated and what was going on in their lives. Their slideshow brought tons of laughter and tears to all the guests. I have to admit hearing Brad as a child during the slideshow was so touching. There was just so much family and love here it was great to be a witness and we left feeling like part of the family. Thanks so much to Caitlin and Brad and their families. We loved being part of your day.
