Nicholas Tyler was born on 1/13. I had such a great session with him on Saturday. I know Mom is waiting to see his pictures, hopefully this will tie her over. Isn’t he just so cute with those lips?

Bride Wars
I really enjoyed myself on Sunday with my brides that were able to attend. I have been pretty sick this weekend and it was a nice break from hanging out in the recliner. Seriously I laughed a lot and cried a little - the makings for a perfect movie. Thanks so much girls for coming out and letting me see a chick flick!

Movie Night - Bride Wars!
All of my 2009 brides are invited to go see Bride Wars on Sunday, February 15th! Showtime is 5:00pm at the AMC Tysons Corner 16. The movie is on me but you spring for your own snacks and drinks. This will also be a great opportunity for you all to get to know each other, swap stories, and share wedding ideas! Hope to see you there!

Women’s Wedding Networking Lunch
Today was an amazing luncheon at Stonewall Golf Club. Three ladies decided to put this group together, Jennifer Bodnar of Regency at Dominion Valley, Myrna Grossman of For All Occasions and Jeanna Hilton of Stonewall Golf Club. 75 women that work in weddings showed up to network together. I just love all the changes that have been happening in our area as we all work together to help improve our businesses. There was so many different vendors. They are planning on having guests speakers or round tables monthly. It was pretty cool to see such a big turn out and to get a chance to meet some new faces. Below are just a few from the luncheon.

Brides & Weddings of Northern Virginia Spotlights the Regency at Dominion Valley
Regency at Dominion Valley is probably one of my most favorite venues to shoot at. I love the staff! The grounds are beautiful and the venue is perfect for a wedding. Some of my favorite places to shoot are the guys in the office and having fun with the couple in their pool room. They were being featured on Brides & Weddings of Northern Virginia’s blog and asked me for a couple of images to show off their venue. Brides & Weddings of Northern Virginia website is an amazing source for information and it’s awesome they are now running a blog. Cindie the editor and publisher there is so nice and I remember speaking to her for hours when I started out. I got to meet her in person finally at the Regency’s bridal show late last year. So go check out the Regency’s post and thanks for asking for images from 2 of our weddings there!
Bride’s Choice Award 09 Wedding Wire
Just found out I received Brides Choice Award 2009 from Wedding Wire. Very cool!
Thanks to all my brides that provided me feedback! You girls so rock and it means a lot.
Weekend at Massanutten
Every year for Chris’ birthday we go to Masanutten for a weekend of snowtubing and he lives on the slopes snowboarding. This year our friends Tanya and Greg came up from VA beach to enjoy my parent’s river house with us. We had a blast. Tanya and I watched got in some good chick flicks. We both can’t get Mama Mia out of our heads! Great times. Here are just a few highlights of the weekend.
We both borrowed a pair of the guy’s goggles. I think we need to get ourselves a pair of girl goggles next time!

haha I couldn’t help but to share theses

We all wanted new Facebook pictures. LOL

I also wanted to shared two of the dogs. It was the puppies first snow (Sug) and Nakita (the husky is now 11). Where does the time go? Nakita is our first baby and I just feel like I am on borrowed time with her now. My Mom feels the need to feed her human food now that she is an old lady and it drives me batty! She is such a good girl and so enjoying this time of year.
