Mary and Nigel’s Wedding 7/26/08

Mary and Nigel were married at Tregaron WIS, in DC which is one of the most beautiful locations for a wedding. It held a lot of memories for Nigel and a lot of his guests since they attended school there. The wedding held both American and Chinese tradition and was really beautiful to document. We really enjoyed all the guests and family at the wedding! Congrats you two.

Mini Me turned 4

Lauren turned 4 yesterday. Her real party is on Saturday at Chuck E Cheese. Oh I love Chuck E Cheese! LOL then again I wouldn’t wish the kids any older then they are ever. Happy birthday Lauren!

Sugar “Sug” Ray Mondo

Sug is finally home. We (Chris and I) have wanted a Boxer for 11 years. When I was in college we got our second baby (first we rescued a kitty). We couldn’t afford a Boxer so we got a Husky. LOL the shedding alone on Nakita “Kita” will make someone go crazy. But we love her and she is an old lady now.

My son Aaron has been on me to get a puppy. You don’t buy a puppy for a little boy so we held off. We discussed it and decided we did want an addition to the family. Aaron was wise and figured if Lauren asked Santa for a kitten he would just do it too. So we picked Sug out when he was 3 days old. I can’t believe how crazy I got over watching for the Breeder to add images of him. Oh yea I picked Sug from a Breeder and I am happy to report these are their family dogs. Second litter and only do one a year. They also had 4 kids and the puppies were around children. That was important to us.

Today he is home playing w/my parent’s 2 year old dog. OMG they are crazy. Kita is just watching them happy that my parent’s dog is leaving her alone. I love dog sitting

Daphne and Bradon’s E-Session

Daphne and Brandon’s session was at Tide Point in Baltimore. It is such an awesome location and the sunset was unreal. This was such a cool location and great spot for a date. Highlights below and I can’t wait to see you both again in October.

Maureen and Jason’s Wedding 7/19/08

Maureen and Jason were married on the 19th it was such a beautiful Washington DC wedding. I don’t think anyone that was in the wedding party would deny that it was an extremely hot day. I even got a very nice letter from one of the groomsmen (Chris) making sure that our staff was ok and that I wasn’t too burnt But everyone was such a trooper as we ran around DC to get some shots in front of the monuments. The ceremony was at The Netherlands Carillon the view from that location of DC is beautiful and is right next to Arlington Cemetary. The theme of DC was carried on to the reception location Top of the Town. One of my favorite locations for a reception. Watching the guest enjoying the sunset is priceless. Here are just some of our favorites from the wedding.

Mary and Nigel’s E-session

August 11, 2008 – 7:29 am

Mary and Nigel came to town a little early before their wedding on Saturday. They asked me to squeeze their session in before the big day. I was more then thrilled to get to spend a little more time with these two before their big day. Engagement sessions are a lot of fun and gives me an idea of what the couple wants as far as images. I think we both really get to know each other a lot better. Mary and Nigel decided on Old Town and had a wonderful session and made it out right before the thunderstorm. Tersha, Mom and Puppy Session

August 4, 2008 – 12:25 pm

Tersha contacting me asking if I was up to doing a session with her Mother who was visiting from South Africa and her little puppy Eva. As I gear up to bring a new puppy into our home I was very interested in Tersha’s puppy. She was so well behaved and I learned that Tersha had done 2 different puppy obedience classes and that she ran daily with the Eva. Erl joined me for the session and we enjoyed getting to hear about living in South Africa and more about Eva and Tersha. Here are the highlights
