K and V’s Engagement Session

K and V were a blast the other night in Old Town Alexandria. Old Town is a great location for an engagment session, there are alleys, storefronts, waterfront, boats and even people’s houses that make awesome drops. I love the little park (inside story as we went hunting for it). The door is just amazing and one of my favorite parts of this location. They were up for all my ideas and I enjoyed getting to know these two just a little better. Their first date was actually here and they hung out together on the water. How romantic!! I am very excited to see them again for their 2 day ceremony. I know the wedding is going to be just perfect. Here are some highlights from the session.

First day of camp

I am a little over a week late posting this but Lauren started camp this year w/her big brother. After the summer she will start preschool. Wow time flies. So here are Aaron and Lauren on their first day of camp. These images so remind me of the ones my Mom took of me and my Brother every year!

Sarah and Jorge’s Wedding 5/30/08

What a beautiful wedding that Sarah and Jorge had at MeadowLark Botanical Gardens. Sarah’s choice of hot pink tables just popped and added to the beauty of this venue. The ceremony was outside just as the sun was setting. The atrium was just a beautiful location for a reception and I enjoyed seeing all of the guests dance the night away. Just perfect and congrats to you both!

Wii Fit

So I broke it out of the box last night. The kids were amused and thinking they were going to get a turn. Not the case this bad boy is mine (just like the system is but the 7 year old leaves it in his room and has made it his own) not anymore buddy!!!

So you have to go through this whole process of standing still and align your body straight. My 3 year old knocked me around the first several attempts finally I stand still for the 3 second count down and it reports back to me I have the body of a 51 year old. Sweet!! Chris was dying laughing. Of course he is going to do his when I am not at home to watch and enjoy. It also reports back what I already know about my weight and weight gain. I set my goals and me and the kids are off running together. Then we did some yoga. Not a bad little system and so far it does exactly what I want. And the kids to be able to workout w/me if they want. They all have created their own characters and we ran past them as we were keeping up w/our trainer. I hope I stay w/the plan and make my goals!! Great addition if you have one and are motivated. I want to have the body a 29 year old again

Jordan and Tim were married on the hotest day this year 6/7/08. Not only are both of them such a wonder couple but I know I will remember their wedding for years to come. Even though I have a couple of weddings in front of them I thought I would blog a teaser until I catch up.
I can’t wait to see them again for their day after session that got rescheduled due to the heat. I hope you both are staying cool in Mexico

Sabrina and Eddie’s Wedding 5/24/08

Sabrina and Eddie’s wedding was on such beautiful day. We really enjoyed being surrounded by everyone’s family and it was very touching to see that Sabrina’s Dad was able to still see his Daughter’s wedding by streaming video. Very cool. Eddie is a twin and boy sometimes I had to do a double check who I was following around

The wedding was perfect and here are some of my favs from the day. Congrats to you both and it was a pleasure to be part of your day.

Ashley and Ludwig’s Engagement Session

I spent the evening w/Ashley and Ludwig the other night up in Ellicott, MD. OMG I had a blast with these two. Ashley’s laugh is so engaging. I felt like I was hanging out with old friends and they were willing to do anything. I love this and we even got to stop in a bar. Unfortunatly for Ashley she got carded and couldn’t enjoy a beer but I know Ludwig probably liked that best about the session I can’t wait to see you both again!
