Johanna and Bryan’s Wedding 5/17/08

Johanna and Bryan were married on a beautiful Saturday at Cabell’s Mill in Centerville, VA. Their wedding was just perfect surrounded by friends and family. I am not sure I could even begin to express in words how nice these two people are. My second and I were thrilled to spend the day with them. Congrats you two! Here are a couple of my favorites from the wedding day.

Sarah Jane and Greg’s Engagement Session

My second Erl and I had the joy of hanging out with Sarah Jane and Greg the other night. We meet at the Old Post Office and wow it is a beautiful location but unfortunatly the upstairs isn’t open to the public when we arrived. We took a couple of images inside and then enjoyed the beautiful weather and sites of DC outside. We really enjoyed hanging out with these two and getting to know them both a little better. I can’t wait to shot their wedding. Here is a couple of my favorites from the session.

The Oakley’s

These kids were so much fun to hang out with Saturday morning at Burke Lake for a family session. I enjoyed watching the bond these siblings have. They are really close to my children’s age. I was blown away that M already had a girlfriend. Both of the girls were on their way to be models and I could tell they had been working on their poses. I think they did an amazing job on their Father’s Day gift. Now the hard part of picking out your favorite one.

Denise and Peter’s Engagement Session

OMG Denise and Peter are awesome!!! They meet me Friday night at Georgetown Univ (I still can’t believe the rain held out for us). Denise was a bridesmaid at Jumana and Mohammed’s wedding last year. These two were so much fun to hang around with and had me in stitches.

Carrie and Rick’s Wedding 5/3/08

Carrie and Rick were married on 5/3/08 and I had a blast with these two since the mintue I meet them. They are both amazing people that are more then perfect for each other. We got to spend the day around a huge group of extremely friendly people that made you feel like family by the time you left. I love weddings like this. Congrats to you both I am so glad I got to be a part of your wedding!

Mother’s Day

May 11, 2008 – 8:28 pm

Mother’s Day rocked this year for me. I got a beautiful black pearl necklace and earrings from the kids. Aaron planted me a flower and made me 2 cards. Lauren bought me a card (next year I hope for a homemade one because those are the best)!

Chris made me breakfast in bed and drove (I know nothing big you say but I always drive so yes that is something big. But I got motion sickness from it and did the freaking out thing cuz he doesn’t pay much attention. So I remembered why I don’t let him drive but still told him thanks and that he really made my day).

We took my our Parents and my Grandparents out to dinner and really enjoyed ourselves. I wouldn’t change a thing besides sleeping in the 3 year old’s bed the night before

Michelle and Divakar’s Wedding 4/26/08

Michelle and Divakar were married Saturday 4/26/08. The day was perfect for their small intimate wedding surronded by friends and family. I loved that Uncle Tony performed the ceremony and added the special touch of really knowing the family. The weather held out for formals and cocktail hour and the day was just perfect for these two. Thanks so much for including me in your special day. We had a blast.

Family Day

May 4, 2008 – 8:42 pm

Wow today couldn’t have been a more perfect day to spend at Kings Dominion. I thought the park would be packed but we barely waited for any of the rides and enjoyed such a beautiful day. I decided no camera (not even the P&S cuz will cuz we couldn’t find it). But I did of course have the iPhone and we did buy a video of the kids riding one of the rides. I will have to upload it to share.

My booth

Sunday was a lot of fun and it was amazing to see so many people looking at vendors to help make their weddings perfect. I took a couple of images of the day. My Husband and Mom were so supportive and I couldn’t have done it w/out them. I enjoyed seeing some of my old brides come by and seeing some of my friends work their booths! I honestly want to do it again which I didn’t think I would after all the prep. Thanks to everyone that came by and checked out my work!
