SubscribeApril 20th I had the honor of documenting an event to support the Foundation for Fighting Blindness. Since A Britton Photography got started doing Mommy and Me pictures for a charity for the new wing at Potomac Hospital I am always looking for a way to give back. Blindness has touched my life and my Father currently is living with macular degeneration (MD). Macular degeneration is a retinal degenerative disease that causes progressive loss of central vision. The risk of developing macular degeneration increases with age. This is actually hereditary and both of his parents cared the gene. So this event was perfect for me and I thank my clients and dear friends for asking me to shoot it. I really enjoyed myself and had a great night out with my husband. Chris took a couple of images and tasted the wine for me. This event co-chairs are Gina and Jay Spencer
